Angry, restless, or frustrated:

 - Rip up newspapers​

- Listen to some music and dance

- Pop some bubble wrap

- Go on a walk/jog

- Pop Balloons

- Beat up a pillow or stuffed animal

- Go to the gym

​

- Scribble on a piece of paper

- Write your feelings on a piece of paper and rip it up

- Clean your room

- Take a hot shower or bath​

Numb or unreal feeling:

​

- Squeeze ice cubes

​

- Bite into a hot pepper 

​

- Take a cold bath 

​

- Run your hands under freezing cold water 

​

- Splash your face with water

​

- Jump up and down

​

- Wax your arms or legs

Sad, depressed, unhappy:

​

- Take a hot bath with bubbles or oils

 

- Read a good book

 

- Tuck yourself to bed and watch a movie or show

 

- Draw or paint

Self-harm, scab picking:

​

- Buy a henna kit, put the henna paste on with any design you'd like, leave it on over night, and peel off the paste the next day.

- Put liquid glue on your skin, wait for it to dry and peel it off

​

- Paint on your body with washable paint
